Women of Three Generations story

Updated: Sep 17, 2020

I may not have won Mega Millions last night but I feel like a billionaire. Why? Because today I saw my first story submitted for publication in print. I had been told it would not be in this issue but the next one. I grabbed the October issue of Urban Experience Magazine to read later but I quickly scanned through it to see if my business ad made it in this month. What a great surprise to see my story and byline in a magazine. I have impressed myself. I always have to remind myself that I am a writer. I come from a long line of (newspaper) writers. Writing is in my blood. I do not take writing for granted because I am always unsure if anyone will like my stories. I happened to be at Franklin Library where I picked up a copy of the magazine. A friend is working there today and I had to go show her my story. I am now sharing it with you. Enjoy! (I now await all your praise. 😊)

Check out Urban Experience Magazine https://www.theurbanexp.com/latest-news/ and at the bottom of the page you will see where to locate print copies. You will also find a link to the current issue with my story “Women of Three Generations.”
