Dred Scott connections

After talking to a friend and fellow genealogist Kathleen Brandt lshe mentioned to me her family connection with the Dread Scott case. "Prior to the Dred Scott case a less known Supreme Court case used in the Dred Scott as preponderance of evidence was the Strader case of Kentucky. That was my ancestor." It is a very interesting story that I have never heard about.
