The "How to Start?" beginner techniques can be used with all nationalities. Ricki will be referencing resources at the Des Moines Public Library. However, check with your local library to see what resources they have. The free online websites are open to everyone.
The program will highlight some of the challenges of tracing Black family histories and techniques to find the missing pieces.
