Black leaders and a couple of Iowans on the 1950 census

The 1950 census was released on April 1st. So I thought it would be fun to look up a few Black civil rights leaders and a sports star. Twenty-one-year-old Martin Luther King, Jr., 10-year-old John Lewis, eight-year-old Jesse Jackson, and Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) as well as 12-year-old Simon Estes, an opera singer from Iowa. The lone woman is Helen Delaney, who survived the titanic as a four-year-old, losing her parents. When she died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1982, she was one of the last survivors. The arrows show where the person is on the original census form and pull out.
